Ruby is the exciting new Vocaloid 4 artist from PowerFX. Gachapoid and CV-4Cβ are two of the only voicebanks known named to use VOCALOID-flex. The evolution of the Virtual Vocalist continues with the release of Vocaloid 3 from Yamaha and Vocal Artist libraries from PowerFX. Its development was to further extend the usage of the VOCALOID software, making it feasible to use the software for private licensing. Despite the fact it can now be commercially bought, much of the details of the engine are largely unknown. It differs from the normal engine, which focuses only on singing, it however works in the same manner of assembling phonetic data.

It is more delicate to edit than the normal VOCALOID engine. I often feel like a lot of Vocaloid original songs are overwritten - the producers are so focussed on creating a narrative and making the song scary, they pay little attention to how the lyrics fit with the music, and they are often squeezed in or feel awkward and unnatural.
